The AW09 is a next-generation, high performance, single-engine helicopter offering the builtin versatility to tackle multiple missions. It is developed in Switzerland by Kopter Group, acquired by Leonardo in 2020.

The AW09 features the latest technology and is optimized for a wide range of roles including passenger transport, utility, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and law enforcement.

The three-tonne class helicopter combines flexibility, together with a large, adaptable cabin space that accommodates up to eight passengers. The state-of-the-art cockpit, high cruise speed, long range, and low noise profile deliver the capability needed for demanding missions.
